City of the werewolves
Few people know it, but there was once a distant city in which all the inhabitants were werewolves. The entire population lived in harmony, just because, unlike what is believed, they were very peaceful and sensitive beings. In fact, there were very talented howling choruses in the place, which were the biggest attraction of weekend nights.
Werewolves had their own food processing plant, which made animal husbandry unnecessary. They produced their own protein source which made the balance of their existence with all creatures of nature even greater.
Everything was perfect in that place. Werewolves were happy and lived in an ultra-evolved society. Until the curse happened. One of these beings, for supernatural reasons, began to behave differently. Periodically, he assumed a completely different personality from his original one.
On every night of the full moon, the cursed werewolf turned into a human and entered the internet to spread fake news, in addition to judging everyone and everything. A tendency to spread evil, often disguised as kindness and the best of intentions. The more the messages spread, the more werewolves were affected by the same curse.
It got to the point where the whole city was cursed. Nobody escaped. Worse, over time, the transformation took longer than the nights of the full moon. Everyone became definitely human, and a few changed their curse: on the night of the full moon, they turned into werewolves.
The beings of the new generation of the cursed ones, when transmuting themselves into werewolves, remembered the height of their society, and felt angry at the culprits for all that decline. And so, they ended up attacking humans. Since then, the image has emerged that werewolves are violent and evil. Another example of fake news created by humans, who just love to lie and judge.
