The plumber

ou would be surprised with what you can find in people’s plumbing. That’s what his father always said. He came from a long line of plumbers and the tradition remained strong over the generations. In addition to him, his brother was also a famous plumber. Perhaps, just less famous than himself.

He was a celebrity from the wonderful world of pipes and often traveled to other cities to provide his requested services. They said he had gold tools, which was overkill. Among his equipment, only a wrench was made of gold, and it had been a gift from a queen who now had her private throne impeccably restored.

Every single day he went out happily to visit his clients in his kart, to avoid traffic. He had a full schedule and guaranteed to be able to unclog any plumbing system. For him, there was no such thing as hard work and it was just like he had super powers.

He had already found everything you could possibly find in clogged pipes, even one or another turtle that naughty children would throw into the toilet and flush. But calm down, they’re all fine. No turtles were injured during the writing of this text.

Returning to our plumber, he had a very curious deal with his customers. After all, it was not just helpless turtles that could be found there in the darkest corners of the pipes. He often found coins and, believe it or not, that was a good part of his income. Especially when he was hired to fix water fountains.

Old houses, then, you don’t even know what they are capable of hiding. There’s a rule that says that centenary mansions hide centenary treasures, even when abandoned long ago. Of course, it was not easy to find valuable objects, he often had to go through the pipes to be effective in his missions.

Most of the time it was a tough job, but somebody’s gotta do it. And if the work ennobles the soul, that was the noblest of souls. Someone who never backed down in the face of danger or an enemy. A prince among plumbers.

One day it would be as big as his greatest inspiration. An inspiration even greater than his father or even his grandfather, who was a legend among his kind. One day he would be royalty, the plumber who married a princess. Just like his great childhood idol, a video game character that, over time, he materialized in his own being.
