Reflexion moment
Was that really what he wanted for his life? He began to think about his entire trajectory. He grew up, studied, attended college, started working and was about to get married… A summary of life that would describe millions of people. Practically, a certificate of mediocrity.
He reflected that he had never done anything great like climbing Everest, for instance. Although, according to a famous photo that showed a gigantic queue of climbers at the highest point on the planet, even this adventure was not so exclusive anymore.
What could be the plans to really make his mark on the world? Perhaps, even leaving the world and giving wings to his childhood dream of being an astronaut. Being closer to the stars would be an experience like no other. In fact, theoretically we are all stardust, aren’t we?
Perhaps, he had too many expectations. Just the opportunity to be able to look at the stars from time to time was satisfaction enough. Especially when he was camping, one of his favorite hobbies.
It was amazing how nature was able to adapt and move on. He remembered how, over the years, the monkeys that lived near the camp he attended began to get used to the presence of people, mainly to earn food. Although, that practice could be a bad one. What if monkeys unlearn to hunt? Would they be forever dependent?
One day, human beings stopped hunting. Of course not all of the humans. At the end of the day, some even hunt for vegetables for us to eat. Everything became a collaborative system and perhaps the system between the people in the camp and the monkeys was something like that.
How to say what is right and what is wrong? Is it like that perception that people have, most of the time, when they are getting older that their childhood was the right way of behave like kid unlike the next generations? Or that the world was better before? The truth is so relative most of the time.
But why was he even thinking about it? Well, it doesn’t matter. What really matters is that the bathroom door of the bar has just unlocked and finally, he will be able to solve your problem and never think about any of that again. In fact, one main thought will stay: alcohol and the bathroom queue really are an exotic combination.
