Sommelier
With a serious and thoughtful look, sitting at the counter of one of the most prestigious wine shops in the city, he looked at the glass. More than just looking, he put all his energy, thought and senses to work with a focus on that liquid content.
He tilted the glass slightly, placed his nose gently closer to the wine and smelled that special scent. Then, he poured the divine drink into his mouth and after a brief rinse, swallowed the contents.
That’s when, still with a serious look and focused on a single point, he gave his long-awaited impression:
- The predominantly red fruit scent shows all the lightness of this wine. A round and soft type, bold without losing its elegance. If you let your taste buds pay attention to all the details, you will notice a taste typical of the country in which it was produced. Some might think that this is a typical French. But the more prepared ones, for sure, identify the woody touch that only Chilean barrels carry. Anyway, a sublime Merlot.
Impressed by all that that man who kept staring at the same point, the store owner did not know how to react to someone with such talent. Finally finding what to say, she apologized:
- Sorry sir. Someone must have been careless and left this bottle of Merlot on the counter, with the label facing you. What you are tasting is the special grape juice from our store. I’m glad you liked it so much.
